This new home is
located on a steep lot,
the garage was
"chiseled" into the
solid rock hillside with
the main house above.
Excavation is underway and some of the lines
have been chalked out.

Return to Homes Under Construction
The excavator had to dig out 15 feet of rock before the
foundation crew could be called in.

Some of the stone from the excavation will be used in
the home.
The foundation has been
poured and the ARXX
Wallsystem was delivered
(taking up the entire
driveway). Within a day, the
garage walls (built from
ARXX) will be 8 feet tall.
The boom pump is pouring concrete into the
ARXX walls.

The concrete is then vibrated and left to cure.

The trusses have been set, so now you can see the
roof line.

When it's not stormy, there is a beautiful mountain
view from the living room.
The home is really starting to take shape. You can see
where the doors and windows were be...

And the amazing view from the living room.
The windows
have been
installed and
waterproofed.

The rooms' walls
are in place and
you can really see
how the house
will flow from one
room to another.
After the windows were installed, the siding
can be put up. Only the front gable is left.
The cabinets have been
installed and stained.

To the left is a close up
of the built-in Lazy
Susan.

To the right is the
master bath vanity.
The exterior masonry is close to being
finished. Most of the rock is from the home's
lot.
