The amount of craftsmanship that went into this mountaintop home is
unbelievable.
The interior is a mixture of cherry
wood, alder, granite, slate, and glass
that creates a fantastic, finely crafted
home. The exterior is a beautiful
melding of shingle, redwood siding,
and masonry.
The log railing used on the decks was crafted from
native trees.
The great room has more than 300' of tiered Cherry Wood
soffits winding through the dining room, living room, bar
and kitchen.
This Rumford style fireplace is double sided, with the
one side in the living room and the other in the dining
room (Count Rumford would not understand). Both
pictures (above and to the right) show the same
fireplace from either side. Below is the dining room,
showing the built-in hutch.
The bar area is next to the living room. The
sliding glass doors open to the patio in the back
of the home.
The master vanity has curved Cherry cabinets with a soffit
following the same flow.
The kitchen is all granite counter tops with
glass-faced cabinets. The island has a wine fridge,
and gas cooktop.
The interior posts were detailed with Cherry
Wood and toped with a granite finials.
